Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest flow will contribute to a positive dining experience. This position is suitable for someone over 19 as you will be serving liquor also need some daytime availability during the week but a flexible schedule as possible but must be available for both Saturday and Sunday shifts
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage the Waitlist
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist guests with inquiries, providing information about menu items and specials.
- Monitor the dining area for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences.
- Seat guests and get drink orders
- Communicate with guests throughout service
- Clearing tables and resetting for Next guest
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help guests enhance their dining experience.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and must have weekend availability
