Position: Home Centre Driver
Full Time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service
Support customers in the yard
Maintain product knowledge and offer advice to customers upon request
Carry out regular preventative maintenance program and schedule repairs as needed
Deliver customer products promptly and professionally
Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts
Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
Exceptional attention to detail and quality
Highly self-motivated
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently
Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is a requirement
Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
Experience running a forklift is preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
