Job Summary:
- Provide basic construction skills for residential and commercial clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
- Bid work and produce it with great satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate with clients and suppliers.
Job Requirements:
The handyman we are looking for should have skill in at least three (3) of the following areas:
- General Carpentry (rough and finish)
- Drywall Repair (Patching/Caulking)
- Painting (interior and exterior)
- Fence repairs and installation
- Deck repairs and installation
- Door repairs and installation
- Bathroom Upgrades / remodel
- Kitchen refresh / remodel
- Minor plumbing and electrical
- Flooring Repair and Installation
Competencies:
- Great customer service and client relations
- Knowledge of building codes
- Material management
- Must have a current driver's license and insurance
- Must have tools, work vehicle and good references
- Independent contractors must carry liability insurance and workers’ compensation
- Must have a smartphone and access to the Internet
