At the Sydney, we are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests with a passion for customer service and hospitality, ensuring our guests enjoy a satisfying.
Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you!
Requirements for the role -
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Customer service skills, outgoing personality
- Team player, ability to work collaboratively with other staff
- Task-driven individual
- Proficient in English (oral/ written), Bilingual is an asset
- Front Desk/ Customer Service experience is an asset
- Basic bookkeeping
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexible schedule
- Knowledge in Microsoft & Excel
- Excellent at multitasking
Responsibilities -
- Register & direct guests to their assigned rooms
- Accommodate guest requests
- Communicate with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms
- Upselling guest rooms and promoting hotel services
- Schedule services for guests
- Recommendation for guests’ trips
- Handling debit machine /cash payments
- Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
- Work under minimal supervision
- Can multitask many duties
- Make on-the-spot decisions
- Dealing with guest issues and complaints
- Handling phone and email bookings
