Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in our hotel South Hill Lodge. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including handling reservations and payments.
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experiences.
- Assist guests with special requests or issues, ensuring their needs are met during their stay.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous.
- A commitment to providing outstanding guest services and resolving issues effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
