Our workshops are hands-on, inspiring, and fun and energetic — and we’re growing!! We’re opening opportunities for freelance floral designers who are not only skilled, but also charismatic, entertaining, fun, and outgoing. Each class should feel like a celebration, and we want instructors who can bring the energy to match.
Classes are held biweekly on an ongoing basis, except the summer months where we pause it to accommodate weddings and events / summer holidays. Our regular scheduled holiday season classes are held 2 times a week and private workshops are very popular which will mean more classes - some offsite and some in-house.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead floral design workshops (corporate, private, and public events).
- Deliver instruction in a way that’s engaging, lively, and approachable.
- Bring your personality into the room — make learning fun, interactive, and memorable.
- Guide participants step-by-step while encouraging creativity.
- Work with Amborella’s team to ensure workshops are prepped and run smoothly
- Share your floral knowledge with warmth and enthusiasm so guests leave smiling.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of floral design experience (weddings/events are a plus).
- A charismatic, entertaining, fun, and outgoing personality — you love being in front of a group of 20-35 guests.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to all experience levels.
- Organized and confident, while keeping the vibe lighthearted.
- Passionate about flowers and excited to share your craft.
- Available on a flexible freelance basis — class bookings will vary. Evening availability is a must

*This is a perfect opportunity for floral designers who focus on weddings and events. Most of our workshops take place in the off-season, making this a great way to bring in extra income.
Compensation
- Paid per class (flat rate based on type/size of class, confirmed in advance). Each class averages 5 hours of work.
