JOB SUMMARY
- Act as a support system for wait staff and BOH
- Examining dishes to ensure they are up to standard
- Running food to the correct seat and table number in accordance to bill times
- Being aware of the menu items, menu and operational changes and communicating the information as applicable
- Providing guests condiments and sides when requested whilst communicating with wait staff
- Packing up take-out orders and taking them to the Front Desk
- Maintaining a composed and professional demeanour while providing exemplary outlet representation
- Being an exemplary team member ensuring progressive employee and guest engagement
- Supporting the floor ops. in various sections as and when required
- Ensure guests receive the highest level of food quality and service
- Protecting the organization, guests, leaders and team members by adhering to applicable food, liquor safety and workplace standards, operational requirements and statutory compliance regulations
Food Runner / Expeditor's must
- Have an excellent command of both spoken and written English. Knowledge of a second language would be considered an asset
- Have solid customer service and communication skills, with extensive knowledge of menu items
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time, reach, bend and stoop repeatedly and frequently lift and carry up to 44 pounds
