Mamakas Taverna is looking for part and full time food runners to join our FOH Support team!
Location: 80 Ossington Ave.
Compensation: $17.20 an hour + weekly tip out
Availability: Monday through Sunday, days and evenings, must have weekend availability
As a Food Runner, You Will Be:
- Delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
- Answering basic questions about the menu or relay them to the appropriate team member
- Assisting with packaging take-out and delivery orders
- Keeping the kitchen pass area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Helping to maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, windows, and service stations
What We’re Looking For:
- Availability to work from 10:30am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and/or evenings Monday through Sunday
- Previous experience as restaurant support in a fast-paced, casual fine dining environment (or equivalent) preferred
- Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 30 lbs
