Overview
We are seeking an experienced person to work at a place with regular customers, as well as that hosts events. It will involve being the Food and Beverage / Events Manager's Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining and event experience. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working to promote a customers events experience.
Duties
- Assist in coordinating the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to ensure high-quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Support kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking as needed.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and events areas.
- Manage team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Experience in team management or supervising staff is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for providing high-quality food service and creating memorable dining experiences.
