Due to organic growth, we are looking for an additional team member. SAFEblu Fire & Safety is seeking a Certified Experienced Kitchen Suppression Technician to join our team (will consider training for the right candidate). As a technician, you will be responsible for inspection of kitchen fire suppression systems in commercial settings. Your role will ensure compliance with local regulations and standards, and you will be pivotal in safeguarding our customer’s properties against fire hazards. We service Strathmore, Calgary and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inspect kitchen fire suppression systems.
· Provide detailed reports and documentation of work performed.
· Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
· Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver excellent service.
Requirements:
· Certification & proven experience as a Kitchen Suppression Technician (will consider training for the right candidate)
· Knowledge of kitchen fire suppression systems
· Understanding of relevant safety codes and regulations (NFPA, local codes, etc.).
· Familiar with tools and comfortable using them on a regular basis
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record
