This is an 18 month term full time position, working 75 hours bi-weekly. Temporary Assignments will be considered.
No reimbursement for relocation will be offered for this position.

Your role
Do you have a passion for outdoor pursuits including camping, fishing, and hunting? Are you excited to assist others access these opportunities? Our ideal candidate is committed to quality client service, is a strong communicator and has excellent critical thinking skills. In this role, you would expand and apply your knowledge of wildlife related regulations while assisting the public to obtain licences, permits and government services.
Field Operational Assistants review applications for licenses and permits of hunters, anglers, trappers, and campers. They provide information to promote awareness of legislative rights and responsibilities and provide administrative intake services for hunting related biological submissions. They also provide technical support (online/over phone) for clients using our online licencing platform.
Field Operations Assistant also provide administrative and support for district conservation officers, preparing documents, receiving complaints, and assisting with other duties as needed.
Field Operations Assistants receive, prepare, and process biological submissions, ensuring compliance with regulations and the accurate completion of reporting tools.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work within a confidential environment and have a commitment to providing quality client service to the public and other groups.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the following qualifications. Please note that selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
Experience in office administration and providing public facing client service.
Experience handling financial transactions (debit/credit card, cash) and reconciling cash.
Experience using Microsoft software, specifically Work and Excel for work processing and data entry.
Experience performing client service duties in a regulatory, licensing and/or permitting environment would be considered an asset.
