Chica’s Chicken is a family-owned, Michelin-awarded restaurant bringing authentic Nashville-style hot chicken to Winnipeg. We are passionate about delivering exceptional food and service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
We’re looking for a dedicated, reliable individual to join our growing team as an Evening Prep Cook. Hours would be approximately 10:00pm - 4:00am, with flexibility as needed.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Food prep, including light butchery, sauce preparation, and side dish assembly.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor and change fryer oil as needed to maintain food quality.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store deliveries to ensure freshness and stock accuracy.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow company policies, health & safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and proper storage procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous butchery experience or prep experience in a fast-casual restaurant is required.
- Skills: Strong time management, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
- Attitude: Positive, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Availability: Ability to work evening hours, with flexibility in shift lengths as needed.
