_ Entrepreneurship Programs Manager - Subject to Funding Approval_

Reporting to the CPO, the Entrepreneurship Programs Manager will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, promotion, and execution of entrepreneurship programs offered by The Immigrant Educations Society. As part of the Leadership Team, this position requires a comprehensive effort of outreach to enhance the visibility of the entrepreneurship programs and, secondarily, the organization in the corporate marketplace. The Manager will identify and engage new clients, new partnerships, and future funding opportunities. The candidate will exhibit innovative entrepreneurial skills with a deep passion for serving people.

Goals and Expectations

This position is measured on its ability to successfully manage TIES entrepreneurship programs and the growth of relationships with community partners, corporate supporters, and media by promoting the above-mentioned programs. The Entrepreneurship Programs Manager will manage the entrepreneurship programs, report to funders, and ensure financial accountability for all entrepreneurship programs.

Key Responsibilities

· Be responsible for designing, launching and managing the overall operations and successful execution of the entrepreneurship programs offered by TIES;

· Lead the efforts in hiring the Project Coordinator, administrators, and facilitators as needed;

· Reach out to the business community for guest speakers, mentors, and advisors;

· Supervise content creation for session material;

· Create and monitor criteria for program participation, following funding requirements;

· Assess, improve and monitor the evaluation process, including clients’ participation in year-end survey question development;

· Monitor client feedback and maintain a commitment to continual program improvement and high levels of client satisfaction;

· Develop and deliver training to volunteers and paid trainers utilizing the train the trainer model to expand capacity within the program budget;

· Be responsible for the marketing and promotion of the entrepreneurship programs to the general public and businesses, following Society’s brand guidelines;

· Meet with community partners to facilitate programs for clients and deepen understanding of the economic development ecosystem;

· Engage in public relations activities such as speeches, presentations, panel participation, and direct discussions with relevant audiences, including community centers, neighbourhood economic development organizations, economic development fairs and women-focused entrepreneurship programs;

· Review research related to national/international entrepreneurship programs;

· Create multiple partnerships to aid the program by leveraging TIES’ relationships;

· Supervise the work of the entire entrepreneurship program team;

· Develop and execute regular work plans and reporting structure to accomplish goals;

· Attend conferences, trade shows, symposia, educational programs, community hubs, etc. and represent/present the entrepreneurship programs when needed. Develop ongoing strategies for participating in and capitalizing on these events;

· Ensure marketing collateral of entrepreneurship programs reflects a solid linkage for TIES vision/mission;

· Develop and maintain an Entrepreneurship Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database for tracking purposes and foster new/ongoing connections with donors/funders/partners to assist the successful growth of the program;

· Manage external requests for partnership or collaboration with the Society concerning entrepreneurship programs;

· Coordinate interviews and speaking arrangements to advocate the benefits of the entrepreneurship programs offered at TIES;

· Support the creation of press releases and nurture key media relationships (radio, television, web) to gather public attention and increase visibility for the entrepreneurship programs;

· Manage social media and website content, interactions, and metrics for brand awareness and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entrepreneurship programs;

· Engage in grant writing to source funding for new initiative and programs that benefits the client base of the Society;

· Ensure financial accountability for all entrepreneurship programs;

· Support of the TIES CPO in any additional capacity, as required;

· Travel between locations for presentations and outreach when required;

· Perform other job-related duties of an Entrepreneurship Programs Manager, as required.

Education and Experience

The successful candidate will have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

Relevant experience will include a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an entrepreneurship environment, supporting aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs. Demonstrated experience in designing, launching, and managing successful programs, preferably within a non-profit or community development context. Experience in outreach, building strong relationships with the business community, developing partnerships, and working collaboratively with various stakeholders is a must.
