The Electromechanical Technician is a hands-on, detail-focused role dedicated to assembling, testing, and improving the quality of AML’s Moving Vessel Profiler product line. The ideal candidate is a skilled technician who takes ownership of their work, learns from mistakes, and contributes meaningfully to team performance and product excellence.With proven experience in both mechanical and electrical assembly, this person will play a critical role in delivering reliable builds, testing and troubleshooting, and driving improvements in build quality, safety, and workflow. What you’ll do:
- Build & Test Assemblies: Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of AML’s instruments and subassemblies according to drawings and work instructions.
- Follow Process & Flag Issues: Work to SOPs and ensure quality standards are upheld; raise concerns or deviations early and constructively.
- Support Quality & Efficiency: Learn from past errors, minimize rework, and suggest ways to improve build quality or speed.
- Contribute to Team Success: Maintain a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment; be a reliable contributor to the production team’s overall output.
- Troubleshoot & Resolve Problems: Use structured methods to isolate and correct issues during assembly or test stages.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement: Participate in changes to SOPs, tools, fixtures, and production practices that increase reliability and reduce waste.
- Cross-Train & Support Flexibility: Be ready to step into other technician or support roles to ensure continuity and team coverage.
