We’re a small and growing ecommerce business looking for a motivated and versatile assistant to join our team of two on a part-time basis. You’ll be working directly with the founder to help manage daily operations, customer support, and content creation. The position is based at our condo office in downtown Vancouver, conveniently located right next to Stadium–Chinatown SkyTrain Station, with the potential for hybrid work in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer service inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Handle incoming phone calls and provide helpful, friendly support
- Assist with order-related questions and follow-ups
- Assist with order processing
- Help with general ecommerce operations and administrative tasks
- Create and schedule blog posts, newsletters, and social media content
- Organize and edit product images for marketing use
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, content creation, digital marketing, or social media management is an asset
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, ChatGPT, or scheduling platforms is a bonus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be very Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
- Have a good memory
- A formal degree is not required, but please include a portfolio or list of relevant experience or accomplishments
We provide training for most aspects of the role.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible schedule: 2–3 days per week, starting with Mondays (our busiest day)
- 5-7 hour shifts, with flexible start time after 10am.
- Starting wage: $20/hour
