Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure each child's needs are met while fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and monitor children's progress through observation and documentation, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Encourage children's creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through interactive activities.
- Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all.
- Maintain organized classroom materials and resources while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Bilingual skills in English and French are a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently.
- Proven leadership abilities to guide classroom activities and support student development.
- Time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities effectively while meeting deadlines for assessments and reports.

Pay: $17.75-$28.49 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week
