As a GIS student in our Data, Analytics and Reporting team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with members of the Development Operations and Asset Retirement teams as we work together to build planning maps, manage data and so much more.
- Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
- Term length: 8 months
- Term starts: January, May or September 2026
- Safety sensitive position: Yes
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the Development Operations and Asset Retirement teams through the digitizing of project surveys, collecting/filing of required spatial data, and generation or program maps
- Acquire hands-on experience with several widely used industry software programs including ArcGIS Pro, FME and Global Mapper
- Gain exposure to various aspects of site operations including scouting, earthworks, and reclamation
What You Bring to The Role:
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd year of a GIS program
- Motivated, collaborative, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
