Position Summary
As a Team Lead you will be working with the dedicated team of dispatchers, leading, motivating and training, supporting the Dispatch team. Overseeing the daily operations to ensure On-time pick-up and delivery.
Your Responsibility will include.
Overseeing the dispatch process, optimizing routes, monitoring the daily operations. Manage and monitor DISPATCHERS sick time, vacation days and LOA
Reporting to the Senior Manager in Western Canada.
Tracking driver activity and ensure they are meeting KPI requirements.
Managing the driver requirements, ensuring driver planning to meet load requirements and equipment availability. Manage and monitor driver sick time, vacation days and LOA.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.
Manage driver's hours of service to ensure DOT legal requirements.

Experience:
- Previous experience in Transportation and Logistics Industry.
- 2 years management experience.
- TMW experience.
- Manage 7-14 people in previous roles.
- Manage drivers.
- Computer skills, TMW experience, Microsoft programs, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
- Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act.
