Job Overview:
We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our team at The Flats Eatery + Drink. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment in a busy restaurant setting. If you take pride in keeping things clean and organized and work well with a team, we would love to have you on board.
Job duties:
-Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Ensure that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Help with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and cutting
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
