Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Support kitchen staff by keeping work areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food service practices, including food preparation and handling techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on sanitation standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards serving others in the hospitality industry.
