The Corporate Real Estate team is growing. Under the leadership of the Real Estate Director, the Corporate Real Estate Manager will support the execution of the Real Estate Strategy. Actively involved in all the aspects of Real Estate Management, the Manager will support the Lease Administration, Transaction Management and Facility Coordination.

- Identify and develop Area Planning activities and business cases for National Capital Real Estate programs.
- Support internal groups in evaluating existing Real Estate space and advising on solutions for maximizing efficiency.
- Actively manage a set of suppliers by preparing and following up on site search requirements, complete site selection documents, and evaluating potential sites to meet operational requirements.
- Support due diligence activities for property acquisitions, develop Landlord work and Scope of Works for projects.
- Ensure timely execution of lease renewal process and obtain approvals on Capital projects and funding, while respecting compliance with corporate policies and standards.
- Evaluate project feasibility, financial impact, risks, and benefits, leading to solution recommendation and implementation.
- Deliver projects within timeline, Scope of Works, and budget.
- Actively manage the relationship with the lease administration Supplier, coordinating and managing facility maintenance and repair services for multiple locations.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to issue, track, and reschedule work orders.
- Assist the team with receiving and dispatching work requests and resolving problems with building services by setting up an escalation process.
- Support the Management Team with operational reporting, budgeting, and financial systems.
- Continuously improve processes, systems, and client satisfaction.
- Help the Project Management Team and work directly with vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and coordinating setup of new vendors with Procurement / Financial Teams.
Qualifications
- 10 years' experience working directly with Real Estate Administration for Logistics company. (Experience with a focus on site selection and acquisition for logistics services warehouses is an asset).
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Legal skills: Ability to read and understand legal documents.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading a high-performance team.
- Bilingualism: French and English (written and verbal communication)
- Good command of MS Office suite
- Mobility: Travel required to visit various sites.
