Would you like to see more good in the world?

So would we.

That’s why we founded FundSource26 Inc., an award-winning funding vehicle for purpose-driven organizations. We provide strategic planning, coaching, and turnkey solutions that get nonprofits FUNDED so they can spend less time chasing money and more time doing good.

The Role

As the Director of Grant Services, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring that our team and our clients are set up for success. You will guide day-to-day operations, improve systems, and support our talented staff so they can do their best work. Your job is to create the conditions for grant wins—not just through performance metrics, but through people, culture, and clarity.

You are committed to excellence, efficiency, and results—but just as importantly, you are committed to people. You believe in setting high standards, and you also believe that success is sweeter when it’s shared.

Your Typical Day Would Include:

Team Leadership & Culture Building

Coaching and supporting our grant development team to meet deadlines, hit KPIs, and continuously raise the bar. You will hold the team accountable with empathy, clarity, and strength while maintaining the strong culture we’ve built—where team members feel seen, valued, and motivated to grow.

Client Success Oversight

Ensuring our clients feel cared for, heard, and well supported at every step. You will guide project delivery and outcomes while also building long-term trust and satisfaction by proactively managing clients and resolving issues as they arise.

Accountability with Care

Helping the team stay on track toward deadlines and goals with structure, clarity, and kindness. You lead with empathy but are unafraid to take corrective action when needed.

Smart Resource Management

Making strategic decisions that balance efficiency with quality. You’ll optimize time, budget, and effort to maximize results and minimize waste.

Operational Excellence

Creating and documenting systems that help us work smarter, not harder. You bring structure to creative work and help us scale without losing what makes our team special.

Celebrating Wins

Ensuring we pause to celebrate progress, recognize contributions, and acknowledge both individual and collective success.

Hybrid Work and Occasional Travel Requirements

We believe in the value of in-person interactions with clients and team members. Our team collaborates 3 days a week in-office with the option to work remotely 2 days a week. You can also expect to travel 5-8 times per year for company conferences and to meet with geographically distant clients. For local clients, you will have more frequent opportunities for face-to-face meetings.

Relocation expenses may be available to successful candidate.

What Success Looks Like:

In 6 months… You’ve earned the trust of our team and clients and have streamlined key operational areas. The team feels energized, aligned, and supported—and we’re hitting our goals with a high degree of efficiency and quality.

By 12 months… You are a key part of the leadership team, overseeing multiple projects and people. You’ve helped us win significant new grants, improved client retention and satisfaction, and built the systems we need to scale. You are hungry, motivated, and driven—proving that you're ready for even greater ownership in the company’s success.

You Are
  • A grounded and strategic leader who knows how to create momentum without burnout and sees people as the key to long-term success
  • A builder of systems and culture who naturally improves processes and strengthens teams—and believes both are equally important
  • Experienced in both nonprofit and for-profit settings and knows how to apply business thinking to mission-driven work
  • A thoughtful communicator who listens deeply, speaks clearly, and resolves issues with professionalism and grace
  • Client-centered—you know how to make people feel supported and seen, while gently guiding them toward action and outcomes
  • Excited by growth—you’ve helped organizations scale and love the challenge and creativity that comes with it
  • Comfortable with change and see challenges as opportunities
  • Trustworthy and committed—you take ownership, show up fully, and care deeply about your work and your people
  • Motivated and hungry—you’re excited to grow with us, build something meaningful, and earn your seat at the table
In the Past, You’ve

  • Led teams and managed operations in fast-paced nonprofit, agency, or startup environments
  • Balanced people leadership with financial and process oversight
  • Successfully implemented systems, built workflows, and scaled programs or teams
  • Built strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Secured multiple 6- and 7-figure grants or major gifts and stewarded those funder relationships with excellence
  • Written or overseen successful grant proposals and fundraising strategies that delivered measurable impact
  • Celebrated wins and cultivated culture while meeting high standards
This Position Might Be Right for You If
  • You want to help bring more good into the world
  • You value people as much as performance
  • You’re excited by both structure and creativity
  • You want a flexible work environment with high expectations and high support
  • You’re ready to grow with a team that’s growing fast

Sound like you?

Please send us your CV with a cover letter explaining why you would be the perfect new addition to our team.
