POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable driver within our company. As our delivery driver, you are responsible for ensuring that our supplies/products arrive at their destination on time on a day-by-day schedule. The duties of this position include the loading and unloading of cabinets and finished panels/parts for our kitchen and/or commercial projects. The Delivery Driver carries the cabinets and other materials into the proper rooms at job sites. This position requires driving a company vehicle. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to lift, carry and move up to 80lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job is a full-time position, with the hours of 7:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. Employees must be compliant with health and safety standards and promote a positive work environment. A full-benefits package will be provided following a successful probationary period. The starting wage for this position will be $20-25 per hour depending on experience levels.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver supplies and products to various locations.
- Follow specified routes and ensure time schedules are adhered to.
- Load and unload cabinets and finished products at job sites.
- Place materials in the proper room at the job sites.
- Operate a company-owned delivery vehicle.
- Work closely with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate well with other employees and customers professionally.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license.
- Safe driving record- Clean Driver’s abstract required.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines.
