POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Dealer Relations Manager to support the growth of our Dealer distribution network. In this role, you will focus on identifying and engaging with our broker and Dealer partners to build strategic relationships and expand our distribution channels. Your primary objective will be to support our Dealer partners through education on our products and insurance solutions and set the stage for long-term relationships that drive revenue and market presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with both Dealer and Broker partners, with a focus on long term engagement and business growth.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and internal teams to target high potential dealer group accounts, driving strategic business development initiatives.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations (both in person and virtual) on Underwriting topics including industry trends, and product offerings.
- Conduct (daily/weekly/monthly) check ins with Dealer partners to maintain strong relationships, provide operational support, submit documentation as required and ensure consistent communications across distribution partners.
- Share performance insights with management by regularly reporting on Dealer and Broker activities, supporting underwriting goals and strategic planning.
- Ensure assigned strategies are effectively and accurately delivered on time.
- Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, fostering relationships and promoting brand visibility.
- Support team members through leadership, mentoring or training to enhance operational knowledge and meet company objectives.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales KPI’s as defined by the organization.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our partners, ensuring a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in delivering presentations (virtually and in person), as well as creating reports and marketing materials
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working directly with dealerships, preferably in sales, operations or account management.
- Previous experience in Insurance or strong business background is an asset.
- General Level 1 Insurance or higher License designation is an asset (or must be willing and able to obtain required licensing within a specified period of time).
- Post-secondary education in a business-related field is an asset.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Applied Epic or other BMS system an asset.
- A valid driver's license and dedicated access to a reliable vehicle is required.
ROLE TYPE:
This role is approximately 80% field-based and 20% hybrid (combination of in-office and work from home). The majority of your time will be spent out in the field meeting with prospective and existing insurance broker and dealer partners, attending networking events, and conducting in-person outreach and training to drive business growth. This role could include travel within the province or throughout Canada and may include shifts in the evening or weekend. The remaining portion of the role involves administrative tasks such as but not limited to: updating records, preparing reports, coordinating with internal teams, and handling follow-ups.
