About the role
As a member of the Data Management (DM) team you will be responsible for:
- Providing DM support to data deliverables
- Performing routine duties under Configuration Management (CM) and DM Control
- Verifying incoming and outgoing data between internal and external organizations
- Identifying, logging, storing and tracking deliverable requirements
- Keeping data submittal records for both classified and unclassified information
- Performing audit functions, data analysis and reporting status of document management accounting
- Working with a geographically diverse employee population
- Ensuring received and generated data contains all appropriate classification markings.
What you bring to the role
- Diploma and/or degree in Information, Library and/or Records Management or related field; or equivalent combination of related experience and education
- 0 - 2 years of relevant experience
- Self-Starter, willing to learn new tools and work with a variety of technical and non-technical disciplines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically: Excel, Word & Teams
- Ability to pro-actively interface with team members
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and the willingness to drive the work, as required, to ensure that all tasks/deliveries are completed on-time or ahead of schedule
- Clearance Requirement: A clearance is not required upon hire, but the position will require the candidate to obtain North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) SECRET clearance in a timely manner and maintain in good standing.
Additional skills desired for the role
- Experience in DM/Document Control and/or Records Management
- Experience with Windchill or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)/Product Data Management (PDM) environment
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience working in a collaborative environment
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours on occasion.
Language Requirements in Quebec
Knowledge of the English language is required for this role as the position described in this posting requires the candidate to communicate every day with a virtual team outside Quebec as well as communicate with different members of the organization, clients and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate must also be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.
