We are looking for a Data Analytics Student to join our Data, Analytics and Reporting team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Drilling & Completions and Asset Retirement teams to build and maintain SQL and Python scripts for use in Oracle and Power BI.
You’ll gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and work in a culture that values teamwork, integrity, and having fun while creating value. We are seeking someone who enjoys back-end development, has a passion for process improvement, and thrives in a project-driven environment. Strong data and logic skills and the ability to clearly document your work are essential.
- Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
- Term length: 8 months
- Term start: May 2026
- Safety sensitive position: Yes
Key Accountabilities:
- Support Drilling & Completion and Asset Retirement teams through the creation of scripts for the purpose of data management
- Acquire hands-on experience with several widely used industry software programs including Databricks, Oracle, and PowerBI Gain exposure to various aspects of oil and gas including through data-driven work
What You Bring to The Role:
- Currently enrolled in your 2 nd year of a college diploma or university degree program in Data Analytics or a related field Motivated, collaborative, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
