Overview
One of our major clients in Toronto is seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead and coordinate the development of cybersecurity initiatives within public infrastructure. The selected candidate will work closely with Independent Safety Assessors (ISA), Contracting Authorities (CA), and stakeholders in the government and transit sectors. This is a leadership and governance-focused role requiring knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks, cybersecurity standards, and public sector operations.
Mandatory Qualifying Questions
- 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Program Management specifically in Canadian government/regulated public infrastructure programs.
- Must be able to defend documentation to the Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) and Contracting Authority (CA).
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations & Maintenance (RSSOM) Cybersecurity Program
- Facilitate working groups, ISA coordination, and CA engagement
- Maintain submission strategy and govern integration with physical security deliverables
- Lead preparation of the cybersecurity certification package
- Oversee cyber program documentation, strategic planning, assurance, and governance
- Defend cybersecurity documentation to ISA and CA
- Ensure program alignment with federal, provincial, and municipal regulations and standards
- Comply with legislation such as SOR/2020-222, PIPEDA, and other national cyber/privacy mandates
- Incorporate municipal and public transit sector cybersecurity practices

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
