Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met while promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services.
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively.
- Supervise junior staff members when required, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries via phone.
- Assist in retail sales activities, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership abilities within a team environment.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
