Custom Shop Worker (Custom Cabinet Maker)
Responsible for building and assembling one-off, specialty, or highly detailed cabinetry and wood components that fall outside of standard production. Such as:
- Custom Hoods: Various styles, curved, box style, tapered with trims
- Wine Cabinets
- Lamello-ing & Glue Ups
- Crown Molding cutting & Assembly
- Soffit Fabrication
- Light Rail Fabrications
Key Duties:
- Interpret custom blueprints, drawings, or client specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble unique cabinet components.
- Operate woodworking equipment (saws, routers, planers, joiners, sanders).
- Perform hand-crafting tasks such as shaping, detailing, or modifying standard parts.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and sales staff to ensure custom orders meet client expectations.
- Apply veneers, trims, and finishing details as required.
- Ensure quality and precision on every custom piece.
- Maintain safe working practices and proper use of specialized tools.
- CNC Operator - Running programs, cabinet parts, MDF doors
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong woodworking and cabinetmaking skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving for non-standard builds.
- Experience with both power tools and hand tools.
- Team Player
- Ability to work under pressure/deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
