POSITION: CNC Operator
Job Description/Purpose:
A CNC Operator is vital to the success of the Profit Center (PC) team by producing parts on time for our customers. They program and operate three CNC routers, producing a variety of parts with various plastic materials. The operator is responsible for inspecting parts for quality, dimensional accuracy, and aesthetics. This role also requires programming from customer-supplied drawings (DXF, DWG), as well as creating drawings or models from scratch.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs daily programming and operation of CNC routers and a laser
- Safely and effectively operates equipment, including AXYZ, Multicam, Edge Finisher routers, and an Epilog Laser
- Works with the warehouse supervisor to set a production schedule to ensure jobs are completed by their required
due dates; programs parts via CAD in advance of running the job
- Records finished goods produced
- Post-processes parts as required
- Other duties as required
