Dietary Aide/Cook
Must live between 30 - 40 minutes from Southampton
Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation and serving in a healthcare or catering setting
- Set up dining areas and ensure they are clean and presentable
- Help with food inventory management and restocking supplies
- Follow dietary restrictions and special meal plans for residents or patients
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, patients, and their families
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning kitchen equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with residents, patients, and staff in a professional manner
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
