QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Certificate of Qualification for Chef, Cook or Culinary Management preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in cooking, preferably in health care food service environment.
- Current Food Handlers Certificate.

Knowledge of nutritional needs and textures of a geriatric population preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards for food services.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good attendance record.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise tact & diplomacy in dealing with residents, other staff and visitors.
