Job Summary
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about cooking and sushi to join our team. The ideal candidate may or may not have experience in the food service industry. As a Cook, you will be responsible and given training for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal service
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- Passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that meet customer expectations
