Duties and Responsibilities
- Can independently run and maintain their station
- Effectively communicate with both front of house and back of house co workers
- Ensure all proper cooking procedures, standards, and health and safety guidelines are followed
- Follow recipes
- Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and it's food holding areas
- Assist in ordering for restaurant
- Prep ingredients for the day
- Prepare dishes in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Keep track of inventory
Cook Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Culinary arts degree (Preferred)
- Cooking and food preparation experience
- Strong communication and time management skills
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial kitchen
