We are currently searching for a Construction Inspector in our Edmonton office.
The successful candidate will work the transportation team to provide construction inspection and design services for a variety of public and private sector clients with a focus on highways, roads, and transportation-related infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in many areas.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the Contractor’s operations to ensure compliance with contract terms, design specifications, and drawings.
- Monitoring progress and schedules.
- Preparing weekly & daily reports.
- Maintaining projects records and site diaries.
- Reviewing contractor work procedure submissions.
- Monitoring of quality control testing.
- Reviewing on-site quantities.
Job Requirements:
What you will bring:
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Construction Management.
- Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or with ASET.
- 5+ of experience with road construction inspection, including some Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors experience.
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is an asset.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Committed team player.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel throughout Alberta.
