McMunn & Yates Concrete, a COR certified 100% Canadian owned and operated company, provides reliable service and high quality Redi Mix concrete to residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial applications year round including basement walls and floors, garage floors, shop floors, footings, driveways and sidewalks.
We are currently accepting applications for Seasonal Full Time Class 1 or 3 Concrete Delivery Driver for our Steinbach location.
Class 1 or 3 Concrete Delivery Driver – Seasonal Full Time
The Concrete Delivery Driver is responsible for:
- Delivering Redi Mix Concrete to both residential & commercial sites while following safe job site procedures
- Provides a high level of customer service by handling customer/ contractors inquires and ensuring instructions for the concrete mix dump are followed
- Communicates and arranges wash-up site with the customer/ contractor and ensures wash up is completed prior to leaving the job site
- Maintenance of delivery trucks including prestart inspections
- Operates the loader as required to ensure bins have sufficient levels of aggregates
- General help in the yard and clean up as required
The successful candidate must:
- Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Be dependable & detail oriented with great organization skills
- Be able to work in a team environment and independently
- Have a valid Class 1 or 3 drivers licence with Air
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including the Health and Safety program
- Be available to work a variety of shift lengths including Saturdays when required
