Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic certified Yoga Instructor to join our team, preferrably with 1,000 hours of training certification. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of yoga principles and practices, as well as the ability to inspire and motivate students of all levels. This role involves leading classes, providing personalized instruction, and fostering a supportive environment that promotes physical and mental well-being.
Responsibilities
- Deliver energizing and accessible yoga classes that cater to a variety of skill levels and abilities.
- Demonstrate proper techniques and modifications for poses to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with members to understand their needs and provide personalized guidance when appropriate.
- Offer variations and modifications to support members with different goals or physical limitations.
- Maintain a clean and safe workout environment.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills by adhering to class schedules and appointments.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation from all members.
- Educate members on the physical and mental benefits of consistent yoga practice.
Requirements
- Certification in Yoga Instructions (1,000 hours training preferred).
- Strong knowledge of various yoga styles (e.g., Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga) is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching at a fitness studio or gym environment preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (especially in French) are a plus.
- Ability to lead multi-level classes and adapt sessions as needed.
- Experience in customer service with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent time management and reliability in maintaining scheduled classes.
- A passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
