We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
- Provide information about products and services, including upselling when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
- Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance customer interactions and streamline processes.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance sales opportunities.
- Familiarity with technology sales is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Proven cash handling experience is preferred.
