Summary
We are looking for a skilled Carpet Installer to join our team at Carpet Squad Inc. in Edmonton. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of carpets in residential and commercial settings, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut carpet to fit designated areas accurately.
- Install carpets using appropriate techniques and tools to ensure quality results.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in flooring installation, specifically carpet installation.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and flooring materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with customers.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.91-$38.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB (T6W): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Carpet installation : 2 years (required)
