We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in tasks such as flooring installation, cabinet installation, and drywall work. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing, repairing, and restoring structures, ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards.
Duties
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Perform flooring installation and tile laying with precision.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs and project timelines.
- Execute masonry tasks as needed for various projects.
- Ensure all installations are plumb and level for optimal functionality.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including flooring installation, cabinet installation, masonry, and drywall work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
