Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Carpenter/ Carpenter Apprentice. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop carpentry skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in various carpentry projects including framing, installing structures, and finishing work
- Learn to safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools
- Support senior carpenters in tasks such as heavy lifting, masonry, construction painting, roof repairs, plumbing, concrete forming, and more
- Help fabricate and restore wooden structures
- Gain hands-on experience in concrete forming and other carpentry techniques
Qualifications:
- Strong willingness to learn and develop carpentry skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Basic knowledge or interest in electrical work, masonry, roofing, plumbing, and concrete forming
- Familiarity with hand tools and a willingness to expand knowledge in carpentry techniques
