Primary Purpose
The Campus Support Ambassadors (CSAs) will primarily be working to ensure that students, faculty, and staff members on campus grounds are provided with quick and efficient support related to their IT, Facilities or General support inquiries. CSAs are also responsible for executing facilities and other administrative duties to support smooth campus operations.
Specific Responsibilities
The Campus Support Ambassador will at various times be responsible for the following as well as other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of the Company:
- Act as the primary responder for classroom concierge button requests
- Assist with monitoring and stocking classroom supplies
- Assist with general facility requests – organize and relocate furniture and other campus assets
- Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic on designated floors and areas, including but not limited to high-traffic areas such as corridors, classrooms, office spaces, washrooms, etc.
- Coordinate with other Campus Support Ambassadors and ensure that traffic is adhering to safety guidelines
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the University
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of provincial regulations and the University’s procedures and protocols
- Promote and communicate best practices on campus to students, staff and faculty regularly
- Ensure students, staff and faculty are adhering to the protocols and procedures put in place by the University
- Report any breaches of procedures or regulations to the Associate Director, Facilities and Building Operations
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to the procedures and protocols whenever necessary
- Distribute Personal Protective Equipment such as masks and/or gloves
- Monitor supplies in each designated area and report to facilities staff any supplies that need replenishing or restocking (e.g., empty hand sanitizer bottles, water bottles,)
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain clean and organized floors, including picking up trash, tidying up classrooms, and monitoring washrooms and hallways.
- Act as the floor warden in case of emergencies, directing students to the nearest fire exit and communicating muster station locations during evacuations.
- Responsible for handling lost or left-behind items, following the protocol for turning items in at reception.
- Responsible for updating the Cork boards & replenishing old, printed signs.
- Ensuring the printer is operational, stocked, and maintained.
- Supporting the setup and distribution of fruit on Wednesdays across all campuses, including special requests.
- Managing kitchen areas by maintaining stock of milk and cream, keeping the space tidy, and discarding expired items from the fridge.
- Updating meeting signs by putting up new ones and removing outdated ones. Increasing presence at the main reception to assist students, professors, and staff as needed.
Position Requirements
- Must be an active UCW Student
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Must be physically fit as the job requires standing for long hours and medium to heavy lifting of
equipment and supplies.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum 1 term completed as UCW student.
- First Aid certification an asset
