Job Title: Cafeteria Cook/Manager (High School)
Location: Point Grey Secondary School
Employment Type: Monday–Friday
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM | September to June (School Days Only)
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Cafeteria Cook/Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our high school cafeteria. This is a school-year position running from September to June, with regular school hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM). You will be off during Pro-D days, winter break, spring break, and summer vacation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cafeteria operations ensuring timely, high-quality service
- Prepare hot breakfast items, baked goods, and lunch entrées
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Handle daily cash transactions, including reconciliation and bank deposits
- Conduct weekly inventory checks and place orders as needed
- Submit monthly inventory reports to Head Office
Requirements:
- Must be available all 5 weekdays (Mon–Fri)
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Work Permit (if applicable)
- Clear Criminal Record Check
