Responsibilities
- Perform meat cutting and trimming tasks with precision and skill, ensuring high-quality presentation of products.
- Prepare various cuts of meat according to customer specifications and store standards.
- Package and label meat products accurately for display and sale.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations on meat selections.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the meat department.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production or preparation, preferably within the food industry or culinary environment.
- Strong knife skills and experience in meat cutting techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to handling and processing meat products.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
