We're seeking a Business Development Manager, Alliance Partnerships to strategically expand our network of services partners, with a strong focus on ERP ecosystems. This dynamic role is ideal for a proactive and experienced professional eager to define our partnership strategy and significantly impact our growth and culture of innovation. This is not a direct sales role, but a pivotal position in building and nurturing our partner alliances.
What You'll Do
- Source & Qualify Partners: Identify and engage new services partners, specifically firms specializing in ERP implementation, finance transformation, and business consulting, through targeted inbound and outbound initiatives.
- Strategic Engagement: Initiate and cultivate relationships with key personas like Heads of Partnerships, Services Leads, and C-Suite executives at prospective firms, educating them on FISPAN's partner program and the mutual opportunities.
- Pipeline Generation: Develop and execute creative outbound campaigns tailored to the partner landscape to build a robust top-of-funnel pipeline for our Channel Partner Managers.
- Collaborative GTM: Partner closely with Channel Sales, Product Partnerships, Marketing, and direct Sales teams to evolve our go-to-market playbook and ensure qualified partner hand-offs.
- Partner Enablement: Become an expert in FISPAN's products, features, and service flows within the context of Partner ERPs and stay informed on banking trends, ERP platform functionality, and competitive landscapes. Educate consulting partners on FISPAN offerings, articulating our value proposition to them and their clients.
- Relationship Management: Communicate with empathy, sincerity, and professionalism to support the day to day inquiries and support needs of our partners. Identify, build, and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders within consulting firms in collaboration with the senior Partner Managers.
- Data-Driven Management: Maintain accurate partner and opportunity data in our CRM and other internal tools, utilizing daily metrics to track performance, manage the funnel, and inform decision-making.
- Ecosystem Development: Network and develop relationships within the consultant ecosystem, serving as the voice of the consultant to deliver best-in-class partnerships and services.
- Events: Contribute your creative thinking to planning engaging experiences in collaboration with our Marketing Events lead and pitch in to do what is needed at events in support of the team.
Who You Are
- Experienced Builder: You bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS or technical sales, partner sales, business development, partnership management, or channel partnerships, with a proven track record as a top performer.
- Strategic Thinker: Possess a builder's mindset, excited to define our engagement with services partners and shape early GTM motions. You thrive in ambiguity and proactively take initiative.
- Exceptional Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, consultative tone. You listen with intention to deeply understand partner motives and client pain points.
- ERP Acumen: Familiarity with services-led partners such as ERP implementers, business advisory firms, and system integrators. Exposure to firms in the NetSuite, Microsoft, Workday, Xero, QuickBooks or Sage ecosystems is a significant plus.
- Curious & Analytical: A curious mind with a knack for asking the right discovery questions. You're an analytical and critical thinker who follows data to inform decision-making and iterate quickly.
- Relationship-Driven: A natural relationship builder with prior experience partnering with technical consultants, accountants, and CFOs in a consulting, sales, or partnership capacity.
- Bias for Action: Eager to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where speed and iteration are part of the job. You have dedication to tracking performance, improving efficiency, and managing the funnel daily.
- Travel Ready: Ability to travel to support revenue-generating activities across partners and events.
- Tools: Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).

Compensation Package
FISPAN believes in an atmosphere and culture when innovation can flourish, collaboration and teamwork are valued and transparency is at the core of it all. We want our employees to see how the ideas they help generate today have an impact on how we do business tomorrow.With that, the hiring salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on comparable market data from companies of similar employee size, revenue and location. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive semi-annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
