Job Summary
September Cafe is seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Duties
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly after guests leave.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and chairs.
- Help with the organization of utensils, glassware, and other dining essentials in the kitchen.
- Support kitchen staff by delivering food orders and assisting with food handling as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Respond promptly to customer requests for assistance or additional items.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food handling practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both guests and team members.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
