The London Music Hall is an entertainment complex located in the heart of downtown London, ON. We specialize in concerts, corporate and private events as well as outdoor festivals/productions.
The London Music Hall is looking to add another member to the team:
- To act as first point of contact for guests/customers of LMH and deliver fast efficient ticket sales via our Box Office system to all customers, whether in person, via the phone or email and to carry out data management using the ticketing system and other systems.
- To deliver the highest standards of customer service and efficiency at all times and to assist in upholding LMH policies at all times.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- To be the principle point of welcome to the LMH therefore always upholding the highest standard of customer service.
- Answering of phones and taking messages.
- Dealing with general inquiries about LMH and its activities and facilities in person, on the telephone or email, and to efficiently pass callers and inquiries on to the relevant members of staff as appropriate.
- Managing and upkeep of computerized Box office system (TicketMaster), and production of tickets for events.
- Care of a float and any monies taken during the course of a shift, ensuring that all transactions and monies are accounted for and securely stored.
- Producing reliable box office data for LMH Management.
- To liaise with Venue Managers, Talent Buyer and Ticketing Coordinator when necessary.
- To assist LMH staff working in the building.
- Ensuring Box Office and Reception areas are always presentable.
- Help create events page/posters when necessary for events.
- Carrying out such other tasks as may be required from time to time.
Experience/Qualifications: Desirable
- Keen interest in the music industry.
- Receptionist experience and/or, experience of dealing with the public.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- A proven efficient self starter who enjoys being a team member.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Has a calm and efficient manner.
- Commitment to high levels of customer service, with experience of dealing with customers both in person and on the telephone.
- Proven ability in cash handling.
- Strong IT skills/computer experience, in particular using Microsoft Office applications, Adobe, Photoshop or other graphic design applications.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
