Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and assistance to our clients. This is a front-line therapist position. This is a part-time opportunity (24 hours per week) with a possibility of full-time hours within 6-8 months.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of individualized behavioural programs
- Collaborate closely with our support worker staff and clinical leadership team
- Contribute to skill development, behavioural intervention, and client progress tracking
- Model and promote best practices in trauma-informed behaviour analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, or related field (required)
- Significant hands-on experience implementing behavioural programs
- Former RBT credential in Canada (or equivalent skill level) preferred
- Strong knowledge of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and compassionate, client-centred approaches
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
