Job Summary
As a Baggage Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of passenger luggage at the airport. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and providing excellent customer service to travelers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all baggage is handled with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain accurate records of baggage handling activities and report any discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other airport personnel to coordinate baggage operations.
- Follow Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and company policies related to baggage handling.
- Manage time effectively to meet tight schedules during peak travel periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or aviation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic math skills for handling inventory counts and record keeping.
- Experience with materials handling and heavy lifting (up to 70 pounds).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.

Hours and Days are as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6am-4pm with Friday Saturday and Sunday off.
Individual should Drive as the 6am start time doesn't usually connect with the transit system.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
