Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and professional AZ Roll Driver to join our Transportation team starting at 6:00am, Monday-Friday with a rotating Saturday every 4-6 weeks. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from client sites and other AIM facilities.
What you’re responsible for:
- Operating an AZ Roll Off Truck to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Performing manual tarping if necessary
- Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
- Completing accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have a valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
- You have experience driving 18 speed manual transmission (required)
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ Driver
- You are physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
- You can perform loading and unloading activities as required
- You are familiar with metal recycling processes and materials (an asset)
